Our St Clair setting opened its doors in January 2021! Although there was previously a preschool in this location, it has not operated for many years. Our Managing Director, Janine Evans, has almost 30 years experience in early childhood education and care and has used this experience to update and completely refurbish the learning environment.

 

We were really excited to open the doors of this brand new early education centre to the St Clair community! We invite families to visit our centre for a tour and to collect an enrolment package, or fill out a Waitlist Form.

Philosophy

The Sweetpeas St Clair Philosophy has been developed collaboratively with our team of educators to reflect our service's values and beliefs when it comes to Early Childhood Education and Care.

 

This document was written in conjnction with

  • the Early Years Learning Framework,

  • the ECA Code of Ethics and

  • the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

 

We welcome feedback and contributions from our St Clair community on our philosophy.

Assessment and Rating

Sweetpeas St Clair has completed the Assessment and Rating Process administered by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) and has been rated as Meeting the National Quality Standard.

 

This means that our service meets the National Quality Standard and provides quality education and care in all 7 quality areas.  More information about this rating can be seen in our official Rating document in our service.
